GREENSBORO, N.C. (Feb. 15, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team started conference play with a 7-0 shutout of UNC Greensboro on Thursday afternoon. With the win, the Buccaneers improve to 2-4 on the season.
The Buccaneers won each doubles match along with all six singles contests on Thursday. Four of the six singles victories were in two sets. With Thursday's win, both of ETSU's victories in 2024 have been shutouts (4-0 at Middle Tennessee State). Additionally, the Buccaneers have now started 1-0 in conference play for six consecutive seasons.
