KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Feb. 10, 2024) – The ETSU women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match on the road at No. 19 Tennessee by a score of 7-0. With Saturday's loss, the Bucs drop to 1-4 on the 2024 spring season.
The 19
th-ranked Volunteers won both doubles matches that were played until completion as well as all six singles contests.
Sofia Markova (6-2, 6-4) and
Daniela Rivera (6-3, 6-2) had the best showings for the Bucs against nationally-ranked players in the No. 1 and 3 spots in the lineup, respectively.
