Earning All-Southern Conference honors in three of his four seasons at ETSU, Zakee Wadood was named the conference’s player of the year following the 2003-04 season. Currently ranked ninth on the all-time ETSU scoring list with 1,382 points, Wadood is also ranked in the Top 10 all-time in rebounds (5th, 822), steals (3rd, 246), blocks (2nd, 182), and free throws made (9th, 328). An All-SoCon Tournament selection in 2002-03 and 2003-04, Wadood helped lead the Bucs to four straight SoCon North Division titles from 2001 to 2004, which more impressively included a regular season championship in 2004 and back-to-back SoCon Tournament titles in 2003 and 2004. During trips to the NCAA Tournament in 2003 and 2004, Wadood helped the Bucs nearly upset Wake Forest (2003) and Cincinnati (2004).
