Emily Arnold joined head coach Lindsey Devine's staff in February 2024. 

In her second season at ETSU (2025), Arnold helped pace the Bucs to the 2025 SoCon Regular Season title and assisted with the development of the program to lead the conference in hitting percentage (.238), opponent hitting percentage (.177), assists (1400 at 12.39/set), kills (1495 @ 13.23/set) and aces (188 at 1.66/set).  ETSU was #32 in the nation in opponent hitting percentage (.177) through the regular season. Under Devine and Arnold, the squad collected two Preseason All-SoCon selections, SoCon Player of the Year, two First Team All-SoCon honoree, one Second Team All-SoCon selection and two All-SoCon Freshman Team honors.  ETSU set program records in best start to conference play in program history (13-0), longest conference win streak in program history (13-0) and tied the longest win streak in program history (16 wins).

Arnold returns to Johnson City after playing for the Bucs from 2019 through the spring season in 2021. While at ETSU, Arnold was a six-time SoCon Setter of the Week and earned both SoCon All-Freshman Team and All-SoCon Second Team honors in 2019. She was also named the league’s Setter of the Month in October 2019. Arnold wrapped up her collegiate career at Bellarmine (2021-22) where she was a two-time Atlantic Sun Honor Roll recipient and led the team in assists in each season. Following her playing career, Arnold started her coaching career at the club level (17-2’s and 16-2’s). She helped coach and train athletes while serving in various roles with the club. Furthermore, she has assisted with summer camps and clinics, along with coaching at AAU events, while assisting in planning and training sessions.

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Arnold had a decorated career both on and off the court at Sacred Heart Academy. She helped lead her team to a State Championship in 2016 and received an Under Armor All-American Honorable Mention in 2019. Off the court, she was an Academic All-State selection in both 2018 and 2019.
