2026 Season (Fifth Season) - Curless put together his best collegiate season to date during his final campaign with the Bucs in 2026...The Bucs' primary first baseman started all 53 games and hit .367 with 15 home runs and 63 RBI...Curless, who was the team's leading hitter in SoCon play (.393), was named to the Preseason All-SoCon Second Team prior to the season...Sixth in the SoCon with a .367 batting average, sixth in RBI (63), and eighth in on-base percentage (.462)...Curless was a two-time SoCon Player of the Week honoree and was named to Baseball America's National Team of the Week on April 21...Overall, Curless paced the Bucs in batting average, slugging percentage, hits, and RBI...Towards the middle of the season, Curless also became the team's defacto closer...He made 11 appearances on the mound (two starts) and went 1-2 with four saves...Earned that win on April 18 against The Citadel and picked up saves against UNC Greensboro, Samford, Western Carolina, and UConn...Had a pair of two-homer games against James Madison on March 7 and then at nationally-ranked Georgia on April 14...For his play all season long, Curless was named to the All-SoCon First Team. 

2025 Season (Senior) - In his first season with the Bucs, Curless played in 50 games and started 46 games...The Texas native hit .280 with 10 home runs and 44 RBI...Also made six pitching appearances for ETSU (five starts)...His top pitching appearance came in his lone relief outing on April 15 against Virginia Tech, where he threw a scoreless inning...Also pitched 1.1 shutout innings against UNC Asheville on May 6...Was one of five Bucs to hit 10 or more home runs in 2025...Hit his first home run as a Buc on February 18 at Virginia Tech...Also hit home runs against Georgia, Tennessee, Samford (three), Mercer, Toledo, VMI, and against Louisville in the NCAA Tournament...Serving as ETSU's primary first baseman, Curless landed a spot on the SoCon's All-Defensive Team...After the SoCon Touranment Championship, Curless earned the SoCon's Pinnacle Award, which goes to the player that has the highest GPA on the championship-winning team...Had at least one hit in each of the NCAA Tournament games for ETSU and landed a spot on the NCAA Nashville All-Region squad. 

Prior to ETSU - Curless comes to ETSU after two seasons at Seward Community College and one more campaign at Alabama A&M...In 2024, Curless hit .327 with nine home runs and 47 RBI in 47 games for Alabama A&M...Also pitched 15.2 innings for the Bulldogs and had a 0.57 ERA with 18 strikeouts and three saves...For his play, Curless was named to the Black College Nines Second Team...Curless was also selected to compete in the HBCU Swingman Classic as a part of the MLB All Star Game experience...At Seward CC, Curless played 97 games and hit .346 with 13 home runs and 68 RBI and 11 stolen bases...His sophomore season in 2023 was particularly productive hitting .433 with 10 home runs and 54 RBI...Curless also made 26 appearances on the mound (22 starts) during his time junior college...He went 5-14 with a 6.82 ERA in 121.1 innings.
