Played in 27 games and started 12 … primarily as a pitcher … went 4-10 in the circle … posted a 4.93 ERA and 1.73 WHIP in a team-high 71 IP … pitched four complete games … struck out 33 batters … best performance was a complete game, four strikeout, two hit shutout against Furman (March 29).

Barnes comes to ETSU from Vernon, Florida … spent two years at Gulf Coast State College … tallied a 12-4 record in the circle as a sophomore with a 3.93 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 74 strikeouts … notched a 7-7 record as a freshman with a 3.62 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 83 strikeouts … earned a spot on the 2024 All-Panhandle conference second team … named to the 2023 and 2024 NJCAA All-Academic third team.
