Registered season-highs of three hits at Wofford (4/26), two runs scored vs. Samford (5/7), three RBI vs. Chattanooga (5/4), five assists vs. Chattanooga (5/4) and 10 putouts vs. Mercyhurst (3/9)... Prior to ETSU: Veglia comes to ETSU from Adams State via Chula Vista, California... Hit .312 at Adams State with six home runs and five triples … was a four-year letterwinner at Bonita Vista HS... Hit .323 with 13 home runs and 59 RBI... Slugged .579 and scored 37 runs... Named first team all-conference and offensive player of the year in the Metro Mesa League as a junior... Earned second team all-conference honors as a sophomore and senior … graduated high school with an honor diploma... Earned the Scholarship Honor all four years... Won the President’s Education Award... Is a CSF (California Scholarship Federation) Life member.
