2026 SoCon Pitcher of the Week (May 4)

2026: Made 22 appearances with 11 starts... Led all ETSU pitchers with a 2.65 ERA and 1.15 WHIP... Led the ETSU pitching staff in wins (5), complete games (7), shutouts (3), saves (2), innings pitched (95.0), strikeouts (56) and opponent average (.210)... Faced 398 batters and threw 922 strikes in her 1,449 pitches... Reached a career-high seven strikeouts twice... Threw four complete games that resulted in a win, three of which were back-to-back-to-back appearances... Threw the first no-hitter for the Bucs since 2018 and the fourth in program history on May 7 vs. Mercer... The no-hitter vs. Mercer was just the third complete-game no-hitter in program history and the first in the SoCon Tournament since 2016... Collected 17 strikeouts looking... Surrendered one or less hits on 10 occasions... Held opponents scoreless through 26 of her 95 innings pitched.

2025: Collected two wins during her freshman season in the circle... Accumulated 40 strikeouts and two saves with a 6.83 ERA... Tallied one double in her five at-bats.

High School: Muncy comes to ETSU from Duffield, Virginia …  totaled over 1,000 career strikeouts at Rye Cove High School, setting a VHSL state record, with an ERA of .866 … also holds VHSL records for strikeouts per game and consecutive strikeouts … a 2024 state champion … a 3X conference and region player of the year … named to the all-conference, all-region and all-state teams all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Bobby and Carmen Muncy … Birthday is Feb. 25 … Majoring in dental hygiene.
