2025: Played in 11 games and started six... Hit .250 with one double, two RBI and one run scored... First career hit came at Campbell (Feb. 9)... Doubled against Presbyterian (Feb. 14)... Both RBIs came against Louisiana Tech (Feb. 22)... Went 2-2 and scored a run against Saint Louis (Feb. 28).

Prior to ETSU: Merritt comes to ETSU from Corryton, Tennessee... A four year letterwinner at Gibbs High School... Won a state championship in 2024... Named to the all state, all area, all region, and all district teams in 2024... A golden glove all four years... Hit .500 over her career with a .538 OBP... Holds the Gibbs career slugging record at .991... Team finished second in the state as a sophomore and third in the state as a freshman and junior.

Personal: Daughter of Crystal and Jeremy Merritt... Birthday is Aug. 22... Majoring in kinesiology.
