Played in 11 games and started six … hit .250 with one double, two RBI and one run scored … first career hit came at Campbell (Feb. 9) … doubled against Presbyterian (Feb. 14) … both RBIs came against Louisiana Tech (Feb. 22) … went 2-2 and scored a run against Saint Louis (Feb. 28).

Merritt comes to ETSU from Corryton, Tennessee … a four year letterwinner at Gibbs High School … won a state championship in 2024 … named to the all state, all area, all region, and all district teams in 2024 … a golden glove all four years … hit .500 over her career with a .538 OBP … holds the Gibbs career slugging record at .991 … team finished second in the state as a sophomore and third in the state as a freshman and junior.
