• 2025 All-SoCon Second Team (Designated Hitter)

2025 Season (Senior) - In his first season with the Bucs, Montesano saw time at both corner infield spots along with designated hitter...He hit .325 with nine home runs and 28 RBI in 37 games played, including 29 starts...Posted a 1.044 OPS for the season, which ranked fourth on the team...Of his 37 hits, 21 were for extra bases (11 doubles, nine home runs, one triple)...Had 10 multi-hit outings in 2025...Had a two-homer game at Mercer on April 18...Knocked in a season-high four runs twice against Siena on March 1 and then again against Wofford on May 9...Did not commit an error in 61 fielding chances on the season...For his play all season long, Montesano earned All-SoCon Second Team honors as a designated hitter in 2025. 

Prior to ETSU - Montesano comes to ETSU after spending last season with Jackson State...For the Tigers, Montesano hit .339 with 11 home runs and a team-leading 58 RBI...The Bronx, New York native also paced the team with with nine sacrifice flies and 29 extra-base hits...He was named to the 2024 SWAC All-Tournament Team and helped Jackson State reach the finals...He also was named the SWAC Hitter of the Week on April 9...Played for Hartford Community College in 2022...Hit .312 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 29 games...He was a .393 career hitter in high school and earned 2A-8 All-District honors in 2019...His father also played college baseball at Triton College and helped them appear in the NJCAA DI College World Series.
