Serge Gomis joined the ETSU staff in the summer of 2022, bringing his wealth of playing experience in Buccaneers' colors back to campus to help a new generation of players grow and improve.
A decorated alum of the program, Gomis played three seasons in Johnson City from 2016-18, earning two first team All-SoCon selections and one second-team nod. He scored 11 points (three goals, five assists) in his ETSU career as a versatile midfielder. Gomis played an integral role in the Bucs' back-to-back SoCon regular season titles in 2016 and 2017, with an unbeaten run through SoCon play in 2017 earning the program its first-ever at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.
Originally from Dakar, Senegal, Gomis graduated from ETSU in 2018. He lives in Gray with his wife and three daughters.
