2025 Season (Graduate) - In his final season with the Buccaneers, Houston put together one of the best seasons ever by an ETSU running back...After earning Preseason All-SoCon honors from multiple media outlets, Houston began the season with a bang rushing for 128 yards on just 14 carries (9.1 avg.) and two touchdowns in the season-opening win over Murray State...Following that performance, Houston was named the SoCon's Offensive Player of the Week...The Roanoke, Alabama native became the seventh ETSU running back to rush for over 1,000 yards (1,008) in a single season joining Quay Holmes, George Searcy, Jacob Saylors, Brandon Walker, Gaven Varner, and Brian Edwards...Scored a team-high 13 touchdowns (12 rushing, one receiving), which is the fifth-most ever in a season by a Buccaneer...He had five games where he rushed for over 100 yards...HIs highest rushing total came at Chattanooga on October 18 where he ran for 171 yards on 23 carries...Had five games where he scored two touchdowns...Was also ETSU's primary kick returner and he averaged 24.0 yards per return on eight attempts (192 yards on the season)...For his efforts, Houston was named to the All-SoCon First Team by the league's coaches.Â
2024 Season (RS-Junior) - Houston played in 10 of 12 games for the Bucs during his first season in Johnson City in 2024...The Roanoke, Alabama native averaged 5.4 yards per carry on the season and finished second on the team with 648 rushing yards...Had three games where he passed 100 yards rushing...Ran for a season-high 126 yards in the season opener at Appalachian State...In that game against the Mountaineers, Houston ripped off an 80-yard touchdown run, which was the longest run by a Buc in 2024...Got into the end zone against Western Carolina and Furman...Ran for 103 yards against Furman and followed that with a 104-yard effort to close out the season at VMI...Caught five passes for 23 yards on the season and also returned a pair of kicks for 50 yards (25.0 avg.) as well.Â
Prior to ETSUÂ - Transfer from UConn...Played three seasons with the Huskies...Had 122 carries for 749 rushing yards and three touchdowns in 23 career games...Hauled in 25 catches for 209 yards and one touchdown...Rushed for 135 yards at FIU on Oct. 8, 2022...Played for Tony Whidden at Handley High School.
