2024 Season (Junior) - In his first season as a Buc, Benitez played in eight games and made two starts...Made his ETSU debut on February 16 vs. Lafayette...In his first game in the Blue & Gold, Benitez scored a run, drove in a run, worked a walk and was hit by a pitch...Recorded his first hit in a Buccaneer uniform on March 13 vs. Harvard...Scored a run in a win over Villanova on March 16...Seeing time mainly at third base, Benitez did not make an error in five chances. 

Prior to ETSU - Benitez joins the Bucs after spending the past two seasons at Miami Dade College...In 2023, Benitez played in 41 games for the Sharks...He hit .318 in 129 at-bats with nine doubles and three home runs...Finished the season with a .426 on-base percentage and drove in 16 runs...In his first season of college baseball, Benitez appeared in 15 games and hit .318 in 44 at-bats...He scored 12 runs and drove in four more in 2022...Despite only playing in 15 games, Benitez finished the season tied for the team-lead with 10 stolen bases.
