2026 Season (Junior) - During his first season with the Bucs, Byers made nine appearances out of ETSU's bullpen...Overall, Byers threw 7.2 innings in 2026...He made his debut as a Buc on March 1 against Quinnipiac...Struck out eight hitters in 7.2 innings of work on the season...Threw a season-high 2.1 innings in the regular season finale against Mercer and struck out three in that outing...Did not allow an earned run in eight of his nine appearances on the season...His season ERA ended at 1.17 and he held opposing hitters to a .214 batting average. 

Prior to ETSU - Byers comes to ETSU after transferring in from Walters State Community College...At WSCC, Byers pitched in 15 games (three starts) in 2025...He went 3-0 with a 6.04 ERA across 25.1 innings...He struck out 28 hitters in those 25.1 innings...Part of a team that finished as the national runner-up in the National Junior College World Series in 2025...Won a state championship in high school...In one game when he was in high school, Byers struck out every hitter he faced in a seven inning game (21 Ks) matching a Tennessee High School League record for a seven-inning game.
