2025 Season (Freshman) - Vest appeared in five games during his freshman season with the Bucs in 2025...He made his collegiate debut on March 1 against Binghamton...Four of his five appearances as a freshman were scoreless...Picked up strikeouts against Binghamton, Longwood and Virginia Tech...Allowed just two hits as a freshman in four innings pitched and held opposing hitters to a .154 batting average.

Prior to ETSU - Vest comes to ETSU after putting together three straight All-Conference seasons at West Forsyth High School...As a senior, Vest racked up 87 strikeouts in 57 innings pitched with just 13 walks and a 0.73 ERA...An All-State selection as a senior, Vest was his high school's player of the year and helped his team win the conference tournament three straight years...His grandfather, Jack, played football, basketball and baseball in college as well (1946-1950) at ETSU and he is a member of the Athletics Hall of Fame.
