2025 Season (Junior) - During his third season as a Buc, McCarley developed into one of the top arms out of the ETSU bullpen...The Seymour, Tennessee native made 21 appearances (two starts) in 2025 that covered 43.2 innings...He struck out 41 batters in those 43.2 innings of work to go with a 3-1 record and a 3.30 ERA...Threw a career-high 4.2 innings at The Citadel on May 16...Made the start in ETSU's historic win over No. 1 Tennessee where he tossed the first 1.2 innings...Struck out three or more hitters in eight of his 21 appearances...Picked up a four inning save on February 14 vs. Northern Kentucky...Was the winning pitcher in games against Old Dominion (March 26), at Appalachian State (April 22), and at VMI (May 4)...Threw two innings in both the SoCon Tournament and NCAA Tournament for the Blue and Gold...Following the regular season, McCarley landed a spot on the All-SoCon Second Team. 

2024 Season (Sophomore) - In his second season with ETSU, McCarley appeared in 21 games and started three of those contests...Began the season by being named Preseason All-SoCon by Perfect Game...Recorded a record of 4-2 with a 7.59 ERA in 32 innings pitched to go with 43 strikeouts...His 43 strikeouts ranked fifth on ETSU's squad...Came up big for ETSU during the SoCon Tournament when he threw a season-high 4.1 innings in the Bucs' victory over Mercer...McCarley, who was the winning pitcher in that game, also struck out a season-high six batters in that matchup...Also tallied wins against Wagner (March 2), Binghamton (March 5), and Villanova (March 15)...Nine of his 21 appearances were longer than one inning in 2024...Struck out four hitters in 1.1 innings of work at nationally-ranked South Carolina on May 1...Picked up a save against Rider on February 25.

2023 Season (Freshman) - Appeared in 18 games with one start against Appalachian State on May 2 ... Finished with a 2-1 record and a 5.76 ERA over 25.0 innings pitched ... Led the Bucs with three saves ... Had at least one strikeouts in 15 of his 17 appearances with the other two only going 0.2 innings ... Finished with 39 strikeouts to just 16 walks ... Earned his first career save in a 7-4 win over Marist (3/3), striking out three batters with just one hit allowed in the ninth inning ... Also earned two saves in league wins over Samford (3/26) and Western Carolina (4/29) ... Did not allow a run in his firs eight appearances of the season, totaling 7.0 innings ... Also pitched 5.0 scoreless innings over two games against Radford ... Had a career-high six strikeouts over 2.2 innings vs. Seton Hall.

Prior to ETSU - Prepped at Seymour High School in Tennessee ... Was ranked the 9th best left-handed pitcher in the state for the 2021 class by Perfect Game ... Also played summer ball for the Ohio Valley League's Owensboro RiverDawgs in Kentucky.
