• 2026 All-SoCon Freshman Team

2026 Season (Freshman) - As a true freshman, Jones was one of ETSU's primary starters in 2026...Overall, Jones appeared in 15 games with 10 starts...He posted a 4-3 record with a 4.47 ERA in 44.1 innings pitched...The Hixson, Tennessee native also finished third on the team with 47 strikeouts in those 44.1 innings...He made his debut on February 17 at Virginia Tech where he tossed a scoreless frame...Jones began his collegiate career with 13 scoreless innings across five appearances...Posted a pair of eight-strikeout games as a freshman, which were against Bradley (March 14) and The Citadel (April 19)...His longest outing of the season was also against the Bulldogs (six innings)...Jones picked up victories against Bradley, Samford, The Citadel, and Wofford...For his performances all season long, Jones landed a spot on the SoCon's All-Freshman team at season's end. 

Prior to ETSU - Was an AP Scholar in high school and a member of the National Honor Society...As a junior and senior, Jones threw 73.1 innings and racked up 136 strikeouts...Also hit over .350 during those two campaigns...An All-District pick in both of his final seasons of high school...His grandfather Tommy Eiselstein played baseball at Middle Tennessee State in the late 1960's...He was a member of the conference championship team in 1968 that broke the school record for wins in a season.
