Brendan Krob, a 2021 graduate from Carson-Newman University, enters his fourth season as a coach and first season as a member of the ETSU staff. Krob majored in Human Exceptionalities and received his Master’s Degree in Special Education. Over 40 games with Carson-Newman, Krob produced a .394 on-base percentage with a couple homers and 19 RBI while swiping five bases. Prior to his time at CN, Krob appeared in 45 games over two years with The University of Evansville, blasting three homers and racking up four multi-hit games. Originally from Justice, Illinois, Krob was a four-year varsity starter for Argo High School. Ranked the No. 10 catcher in Illinois by Prep Baseball Report. Krob had a career .408 BA with 13 homers in high school. Prior to entering Evansville, Krob spent that summer playing for the Joliet Admirals of the Midwest Collegiate League, finishing in the top five in runs batted in and top ten in slugging percentage as well as on base percentage. He got married to his wife Karsyn in December 2023 and is the son of Jeff and Jennie Krob. Has two siblings, Ryan and Dustin, that also played college baseball.Â
