2024 Season (RS-Sophomore) - In his second season with the Bucs, Johnson made 13 of 20 field goals (65 percent) in 12 games...He also totaled 17 touchbacks on kickoffs for ETSU...Made at least one field goal of 40 yards or longer in three of the last four games...Was named the SoCon's Special Teams Player of the Week on both September 23 and November 11...Made three field goals in ETSU's win in the season finale at VMI on November 23. 

2023 Season (RS-Freshman) - In his first season as ETSU's primary kicker, Johnson fared well...On 44 kickoffs, Johnson recorded 16 touchbacks...Went 8-for-13 on field goal attempts and a perfect 24-for-24 on extra point tries...Made a season-high 44-yard field goal vs. Mercer on October 7...Made two field goals against the Bears and made two more in the game the following week vs. Wofford on October 14...Picked up a tackle in that game against the Terriers as well...Went a perfect 5-for-5 in field goal tries under 30 yards...For his efforts all season long, Johnson was named to the 2023 All-SoCon Freshman Team. 

2022 Season (Redshirt) - Earned SoCon Commissioner's Medal and named to SoCon Honor Roll ... Did not make any appearances in 2022. 

Prior to ETSU - Lettered in football and soccer at South Doyle High School...For his career, he was 107-of-159 (67%) on touchbacks and 3-for-3 on onside kicks... Totaled 86 punts with a 35.5 average, while 31 were downed inside the 20... Finished his career 102-for-111 (92%) on extra-points and 19-of-29 (66%) on field goals...Career-long field goal was 45 yards...Finished with 159 career points...Named Regional 2-5A Kicker of the Year in 2019 and 2020...Named to the Kicking World All-American Team in 2019 and 2020...Earned first team all-region, all-state, and all-county in 2019 and 2020... Named State of Tennessee High School Football 5A All-State...Part of the team that won Class 5A Region 2 Championship in 2019...Son of Steven and Shelley Johnson...Born March 19...Plans to major in Finance...His father Steven, played football at Tennessee from 1990-93.
