Triathlon Set for Navy Collegiate Cup

Bucs return to action Sunday morning in Annapolis

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2026) – The ETSU women's triathlon team continues its 2026 season on Sunday as the Buccaneers travel to Annapolis, Md., for the Navy Collegiate Cup.

Last Time Out:
  • ETSU is coming off a strong showing at the Beaver County Tri Cup on Sept. 19, where the Bucs finished fourth overall and third among NCAA Division I programs.
  • Taylor Walker led ETSU for the second consecutive event, posting a time of 1:03:03.35 and earning a podium finish.
  • Andie Psilopoulos led the field out of the water with a 9:02 swim split before finishing 13th overall with a time of 1:04:57.93.
About the Squad:
  • ETSU women's triathlon is competing in its 11th season in 2026.
  • Head coach Allie Nicosia is in her seventh season leading the Buccaneer program.
  • Five student-athletes returned from last year's squad, while two newcomers joined the program for the 2026 season. The roster features two freshmen, one sophomore, three juniors, and one senior.
  • Walker, Psilopoulos and Remorca represented ETSU and the United States at the 2026 America's Cup Triathlon.
  • The Bucs finished fourth overall at the 2025 East Regional Qualifier before placing sixth at the 2025 NCAA Championships, improving two spots from their finish at the national meet the previous season.
