BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Sept. 19, 2026) - East Tennessee State women's triathlon team took on the first full sprint event of the season in the Beaver County Tri Cup and had a solid showing that included a podium finisher. 
 
The Beaver County Tri Cup, hosted by Duquesne, consisted of a 750-meter swim, 11.8-mile bike, and 3.1-mile run. The event was a draft-legal sprint distance race. 
 
Notables 

• Taylor Walker led the Bucs for the second event in a row and tallied a time of 1:03:03.35.   

• Andie Psilopoulos led out of the swim, with a split of 9:02, and ended her day with a 13th place showing in 1:04:57.93. 

• The next two finishers for ETSU came in back to back. Ninon Lapierre finished in 25th (1:06:23.39) and Mia Remorca was right behind in 26th (1:06:26.80). 

• Rapha Lima, Olivia Halfpap, and Emily Jenkins rounded out the group of Bucs. Lima finished in 29th in 1:06:49.73, Halfpap crossed the finish line in 1:10:04.44 which was good for 46th, and Emily Jenkins landed in 56th with a time of 1:13:04.42. 

• The team as a whole placed fourth in the event and third among DI squads. ETSU had a wide gap between the next competitor, as the Bucs notched a score of 95 and the next closest was at 130.
