JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 3, 2026) – The 2026 campaign for ETSU women's triathlon team begins Friday evening on campus with the Buccaneer Collegiate Cup. It is the fifth-straight season the Bucs have hosted the team's first race of the season.

Notes:
- ETSU welcomes Concord, Duquesne, Hampton, King, Lenoir-Rhyne, Newberry, Northern Kentucky, Warren Wilson, and Queens.
- The swim will be held inside the Basler Center for Physical Activity (CPA), and the bike portion will start in front of the CPA, turn right, and do two laps on J.L. Seehorn Jr. Rd. towards S. Greenwood Drive. The run will take place along Go Bucs Trail, where the runners will turn left onto the walking path that runs across the road from Lot 22 and past Summers-Taylor Stadium before retracing the route back to the CPA.
About the Squad:
- East Tennessee State triathlon enters its 11th season in 2026.
- Head coach Allie Nicosia enters her seventh season head coach of the program.
- Five return from last year's squad, with two newcomers joining the program. The roster is made up of two freshmen, a sophomore, three juniors, and a senior.
- East Tennessee State triathlon sent three individuals to represent the United States at the 2026 America's Cup Triathlon. Taylor Walker, Andie Psilopoulos, and Mia Remorca represented the Bucs.
- The program finished fourth overall at the 2025 East Regional Qualifier and sixth overall at the NCAA Championships in 2025. That was a two-spot improvement at the national meet from the prior year.
