JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 22, 2026) – The ETSU Athletic Department announced on Wednesday that the football team's game against Tusculum on September 5 has been moved to a 5:30 p.m. kickoff.
 
The game will also feature special integrations with patients from Niswonger Children's Hospital as part of their on-going partnership with Buccaneer Athletics. It will also be the first meeting between ETSU and Tusculum since 1950. Furthermore, Tusculum is led by former ETSU Defensive Coordinator Billy Taylor, who spent over a decade with the program either as a player or on the coaching staff.
