THINGS TO KNOW – Please click HERE for all the "Things to Know" for Saturday's matchup with the Golden Eagles, presented by Citizens Bank.

SENSATIONAL STREAK FOR ETSU - The Blue and Gold have now won five straight games for the first time since 2021 and haven't lost a conference game in over a calendar year (last loss: Chattanooga, October 18, 2025). ETSU has won eight straight league games, tying the longest streak in school history with the Bucs in the Southern Conference.

DOMINANT DEFENSE IN OCTOBER - The Buccaneer defense has enjoyed significant success in October. In wins over Chattanooga, The Citadel, and VMI, the Bucs have allowed just 19 points (6.3 per game). ETSU has also tightened its passing defense, holding the Mocs and Keydets to 75 and 13 passing yards, respectively.

HIGH-SCORING BUCCANEER OFFENSE - Speaking of scoring, the Buccaneers topped 30 points for the sixth time in eight games this season last Saturday in Lexington. For the season, ETSU's offense is averaging 33.4 points per game, which narrowly edges Tennessee Tech's mark (33.3) for the SoCon lead. If the Buccaneer offense can maintain this production for the rest of the season, it'll break the program's single-season points-per-game record set by the 2021 team (32.7 PPG).

ABOUT TENNESSEE TECH - No. 11 Tennessee Tech improved to 7-1 this season (4-1 SoCon) with a 28-13 road win at The Citadel last Saturday. Only the three remaining undefeated teams in the FCS (Harvard, Stephen F. Austin, and Tarleton State) have a higher winning percentage than the Golden Eagles do this season. Leading the way has been quarterback Jax Leatherwood. Leatherwood has been productive in his first season with the program after transferring from Southeast Missouri State throwing for 2,099 yards and 21 touchdowns against four interceptions. The San Diego native leads all SoCon quarterbacks in passing yards, touchdowns, and efficiency and ranks among the top 15 in the FCS in all three categories.

SERIES REWIND AGAINST THE GOLDEN EAGLES - Saturday will be the first football game between ETSU and Tennessee Tech since 1984. The Bucs hold the edge in the all-time series, winning 18 of the previous 32 matchups. The Golden Eagles will be making their first trip to Johnson City for a football game since September 10, 1983 (15,757 days ago) on Saturday.
