Box Score GREENSBORO, N.C. - East Tennessee State women's basketball secured their second win in the conference slate of the 2025-26 season on Saturday afternoon.  The Bucs (9-11, 2-3 SoCon) downed the UNC Greensboro Spartans (12-9, 2-4 SoCon) 58-48 to go 2-0 in SoCon road play.

NOTABLES

• Daniela Lopez, the junior guard, led scoring with 18 points for her sixth outing of the season with double-digit points and her second consecutive appearance.  Lopez went 7-14 from the field with three rebounds and one assist.
• Senior forward Meghan Downing reached her fifth contest of the season with double-digit rebounds, tallying 11 versus the Spartans with nine points, three assists and two blocks.  Downing extended her block streak to 36 consecutive appearances and extends her SoCon lead to 35 this season.
• Carmen Richardson, the sophomore guard, collected the team-high and game-high of five assists with seven points, one steal and four rebounds.
• Sophomore guard Jaidyn Harper was a key playmaker for the Bucs in the win with eight points, six rebounds, one block and one steal.
• Anala Nelson, the graduate guard, totaled nine points, three assists and two rebounds to be a top contributor for the team in the win.
• The squad saw their best start to a game this season with an 11-0 scoring streak to open the first frame, and reached a 17 point advantage in the third quarter to secure the win.  
• Six of eight scoring members of the squad collected five or more points for the second consecutive contest.
• The team totaled 58 points, 41 rebounds, 13 assists, four steals and two blocks.
