RALEIGH, N.C. (Jan . 17, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the spring season on Saturday as it dropped a 7-0 decision on the road at No. 11 NC State. With Saturday's loss, the Buccaneers move to 1-1 on the season.
NC State jumped out to the 1-0 lead thanks to a pair of 6-1 victories in doubles. In singles, NC State won all six matches in two sets.
Audelie Lesauvage and
Mariangel Estrella both pushed their second sets to tiebreaker points out of the No. 4 and 6 slots.
