WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 19, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team dropped a road match at Wake Forst on Monday afternoon by a score of 5-2. With Monday's loss, the Buccaneers move to 1-2 on the season.
Wake Forest earned the doubles point on Monday thanks to victories in the first and second flights. The duo of
Niyati Kukreti and
Audelie Lesauvage teamed up for a 6-1 win in No. 3 doubles for ETSU.
The Demon Deacons won four of the six singles matches to clinch Monday's match. ETSU did tally a pair of wins from
Julia Millan and Lesauvage. Lesauvage picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win to complete her stellar afternoon. Millan, meanwhile, outlasted Wake Forest's Heidi Bulger in three sets for her second win of the spring campaign.
