RICHMOND, Ky. (Jan . 13, 2026) – The ETSU women's tennis team started its 2026 season with a 5-0 win on the road at Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday. It marks the first time since 2023 that the Buccaneers have begun a season 1-0.
 
ETSU took Tuesday's double point thanks to a pair of 6-3 victories from the duos of Julia Millan/Ksenija Rage and Audelie Lesauvage/Niyati Kukreti. Millan made it 2-0 ETSU before Alessandra Caceres, Lesauvage and Rage all won their respective tilts in three sets to close out the victory.

The Bucs will be back at it on Saturday when they visit No. 11 NC State. First serve between ETSU and the Wolfpack is scheduled for 11 a.m.
