JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 9, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team celebrated senior day with a 5-2 victory over Furman on Wednesday afternoon. Wednesday's win over the Paladins, which is ETSU's 19
th straight against Furman, boosts the Bucs' overall record to 11-6 (5-1 SoCon) this spring.
Wednesday's match began with the Paladins winning in No. 3 doubles, 6-3. With Furman a win away from claiming the first point of the match, the Bucs battled back to win the next two contests 7-5 and 7-6.
Furman would go on to tie the match at one with a victory from Nico Snyder to begin singles. However, ETSU quickly responded as

Pedro Cressoni and
Peter Kalocsai reeled off three straight victories to clinch the win for ETSU. Wednesday's victory for the Bucs improves ETSU's record to 10-2 over its last 12 matches.
