CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (April 17, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team rolled past The Citadel by a score of 5-0 in Thursday's SoCon Quarterfinals from Chattanooga. Thursday's win is ETSU's fifth in a row and boosts its overall record to 13-6 this season.
After shutting out the Bulldogs just five days ago, the Bucs picked up where they left off on Thursday. The Blue and Gold quickly secured the doubles point thanks to a pair of 6-0 victories from the No. 1 and No. 3 duos. Moving onto singles, All-SoCon selections
Juan Andres Listo and
Pedro Cressoni both recorded victories before senior
Francisco Lamas clinched ETSU's spot in Friday's semifinals with a 6-3, 6-0 win. Freshman
Carlos Gonzales added a win after the match had already been decided, which was his 14
th in a row boosting his record to 15-3.

The Bucs will return to action on Friday morning with a matchup against No. 5 seed Furman. ETSU knocked off the Paladins earlier this season by a score of 5-2. First serve between the Bucs and Paladins is set for 10 a.m. from the Champions Club in Chattanooga.
