BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (March 30, 2025) – The ETSU women's tennis team notched its second straight road win on Sunday as it defeated Samford by a score of 6-1. Sunday's victory boosts ETSU's record to 9-7 overall and 3-0 in SoCon play.
The beginning of Sunday's match belonged to the Bulldogs as they won all three doubles matches by scores of 7-5, 6-0 and 6-2. Samford's momentum, however, was short lived as the Bucs won all six singles matches to cruise past the Bulldogs. ETSU has now won 12 straight matches against Samford dating back to 2015.
