ETSU remains in fifth on day two of Low Country Intercollegiate

Crafton within striking distance of the individual lead

Hilton Head Island, S.C. (March 22, 2025) – East Tennessee State University women's golf stayed in fifth place after the second round at the Low Country Intercollegiate.

Senior Alex Crafton is now alone in third place at 6-over on the individual leaderboard. She trails Samford's Grace Engel, who sits at 3-over through two rounds, and High Point's Anna Howerton at 4-over.

As a team, ETSU didn't move from its spot at No. 5, and now has a two-day score of 59-over. High Point and Wofford are in first and second, at 40-and 48-over, and Samford and Gardner-Webb round out the top five at 52-and 57-over. 

Freshman McKenzie Hauk and junior Katie Hall each shot 7-over in the second round, and sophomore Brianna Castaldi rounded out the Bucs' scoring with an 11-over day.

ETSU will conclude the tournament on Sunday morning with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.
