BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 20, 2025) – The ETSU women's tennis team concluded its trip to Florida with a 4-0 loss to No. 27 FAU on Thursday. Thursday's result moves ETSU's record to 7-7 on the 2025 season.
 
The 27^th-ranked Owls won two of the three doubles matches to clinch the first point of Thursday's contest. ETSU's top tandem of Daniela Rivera and Alessandra Caceres continued their stellar season with a 6-2 win over FAU's Malwina Rowinska and Lara Smejkal. Thursday's win moved their spring doubles record to 9-3.
 
As the match moved to singles, the Bucs battled but FAU won the No. 2, 4 and 5 flights to clinch their 10^th win in a row. The three unfinished matches featured ETSU's Rivera, Jana Rovira and Ksenija Rage and they either won a set or were leading in the final frame before play was stopped when FAU clinched the win.

The Bucs will return to SoCon play for their next match when they visit Wofford next Friday. First serve between the Bucs and Terriers is set for 3:30 p.m.
