BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 19, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team saw its seven-match winning streak come to an end on Wednesday with a 4-0 loss to No. 65 FAU. Wednesday's loss drops ETSU's record to 8-5 this spring.
FAU began Wednesday's matchup with a pair of 6-3 wins in doubles to clinch the first point of the match. ETSU's duo of
Pedro Cressoni and
James Sim were leading their tilt, 5-4, before it was stopped. In singles, the Owls clinched the match with wins in the No. 3, 4, and 5 singles slots.
Martin Garcia-Ripoll won the first set, 6-4 and was up 5-2 in the second before play was halted.
