BOCA RATON, Fla. (March 19, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team saw its seven-match winning streak come to an end on Wednesday with a 4-0 loss to No. 65 FAU. Wednesday's loss drops ETSU's record to 8-5 this spring.
 
FAU began Wednesday's matchup with a pair of 6-3 wins in doubles to clinch the first point of the match. ETSU's duo of Pedro Cressoni and James Sim were leading their tilt, 5-4, before it was stopped. In singles, the Owls clinched the match with wins in the No. 3, 4, and 5 singles slots. Martin Garcia-Ripoll won the first set, 6-4 and was up 5-2 in the second before play was halted.

The Bucs will return to SoCon play next week when they travel to take on Mercer on Thursday and Chattanooga on Saturday. Thursday's match is scheduled for a 2 p.m. first serve, while Saturday's is set to begin at Noon.
