- The Bucs got back into the win column after rallying for a 72-69 win over Furman on Sunday in front of 5,211 fans inside Freedom Hall
- ETSU closed the game on a 12-2 run to secure the three-point conference win in front of the largest home crowd since Feb. 29, 2020, when 6,177 fans saw the Bucs rally past Western Carolina to clinch the regular season crown
- In addition to finishing on the 12-2 run, the Bucs ended the first half and opened the second half on a combined 31-5 surge to take a 44-32 lead with just over 18 minutes left in the contest

- Jaden Seymour bounced back with a game-high 23-point, 5-rebound performance on Sunday, marking his sixth 20-point scoring game this year
- After combining to go 0-for-17 last Wednesday at UNCG, Boyd and Seymour combined to go 12-for-17 for 35 points and 18 rebounds against Furman
- Quimari Peterson extended his streak of scoring in double figures to 20 straight games after netting 16 points, including having the game-winning score with 29.3 seconds remaining … Peterson now has 900 career points (894 as a Buccaneer)

- Jaden Seymour scored his 1,000th career point and 1,000th point as a Buccaneer in the win over USC Upstate on Nov. 22 … Seymour became the 43rd 1,000-point scorer in program history and now is 14th in program history with 1,316 career points … Seymour needs 11 points to pass Rashawn Rembert (2011-15) for 13th all-time on the ETSU scoring list and 36 to pass Jerald Fields (2000-04) for 12th … Overall, Seymour has 1,327 points with 11 of those coming during his freshman season at Wichita State
