RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 23, 2025) – East Tennessee State University women's tennis climbed out of a 2-1 deficit to record a 4-3 win over VCU on Sunday.
Julia Millan and
Jana Rovira won 6-4 at No. 2 doubles before the Rams evened it at 1-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Ralitsa Alexandrova and Ksjenia Rage won the tiebreaking match 7-6 (7-3) to deliver the Bucs the doubles point.
In singles, VCU quickly won points on courts two and three. Millan tied the match with a 6-2, 6-2 win before Rivera came back to win on court one 1-6, 6-4, 7-5 and Alexandrova clinched the match with a 6-3, 7-5 win.
