JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 28, 2025) – The No. 62 ETSU women's tennis team continued its stellar play on Friday as it shut out Radford by a score of 7-0. With Friday's win, the Buccaneers improve to 6-4 overall and they have won five of their last six matches.
ETSU jumped on the Highlanders right from the start. The Bucs won the doubles point by winning 6-1 and 6-3 in the first two matches. ETSU's dominance continued in singles as it won all six tilts.
Daniela Rivera's 6-2, 6-2 win in the No. 1 slot clinched the win for the Bucs. It was ETSU's first shutout win in 2025 and first since defeating UNC Greensboro 4-0 in last year's SoCon Tournament.
