BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (Feb. 18, 2025) – Playing in its first match in nearly three weeks, the ETSU men's tennis team dropped a contest to Gardner-Webb by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday. Tuesday's setback pushes ETSU's record to 1-3 in 2025.
The Runnin' Bulldogs captured the doubles point by winning matches by scores of 6-4 and 6-1 in the No. 1 and 2 positions. In singles action, meanwhile, Gardner-Webb won five of the six matches.
James Sim and
Carlos Gonzales both pushed their respective tilts to three sets.
Pedro Cressoni tallied ETSU's lone point on the day winning 6-1, 6-2 in No. 2 singles.
