Box Score JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - East Tennessee State women's basketball (3-7, 0-0 SoCon) met with the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles (5-2, 0-0 OVC) for the first time in history on Saturday afternoon. The Bucs fell 41-56.
NOTABLES
- Lucy Hood, the sophomore guard, was the top scorer for the Bucs with her tied career-high four three pointers made. Hood led the Bucs with 12 points.
- Following Hood's offensive efforts was sophomore guard Jaidyn Harper with 11 points. Harper went 3-9 in three point attempts with one additional field goal. Harper tacked on five rebounds and one steal in the contest.
- Meghan Downing, the senior forward, led on defense with the team-high of six rebounds and the lone block for the Bucs, raising her career blocks total to 133. Downing also went 4-4 from the line for her fourth consecutive game with a 100% rate in free throws with her fifth of the season.
- Freshman guard Emmah McAmis boasted a career-high four assists with her eight points, adding on two rebounds.
- Guards Anala Nelson (Gr.) and Carmen Richardson (So.) tied for the team-high in steals with two apiece with the duo each collecting two assists and one rebounds as well.
- The team totaled 41 points, 27 rebounds, nine assists, seven steals and one block.
