ORLANDO, Fla. (Nov. 19, 2025) – ETSU men's tennis players Oscar Martinez and Martin Vergara dropped their match to Ole Miss's Isac Stromberg and Kai Milburn 6-0, 6-3 on Wednesday in the first round of the NCAA Doubles Championship in Orlando.
 
Martinez and Vergara were the lone men's tennis players from the SoCon to qualify for the Doubles Championship featuring 32 doubles pairings from across the country. ETSU's duo qualified for this position by finishing as the runner-up at the ITA Conference Masters Championship in San Diego.
 
With Wednesday's loss, Martinez and Vergara concluded the fall portion of the schedule with a 13-3 record when paired with each other.
 
Martinez, Vergara and the rest of the Bucs will now turn their attention to the spring season, which will get underway in mid-January.
