SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Oct. 30, 2025) – The ETSU women's soccer team has hardware headed its way.
The Buccaneers landed seven players across All-SoCon first, second, and freshman teams, with a record five among the first and second teams. 
Reagan Fitzgerald and 
Grace Eatz were selected First Team All-SoCon; 
Ella Parker, 
Georgia Shields, and 
Addison Yelton were selected Second Team All-SoCon, and 
Ainsley Parker and 
Caroline Wawak received SoCon All-Freshman honors. The seven players honored matches the high-water mark for the program set in 2023 with three first-team picks, one second-team pick, and three all-freshman selections, with Fitzgerald earning both Second Team All-SoCon and All-Freshman honors that season.
Fitzgerald, the 2023 SoCon Freshman of the Year, returned to the honor roll in 2025 after a scorching start to the season that saw her race to the top of the league scoring charts. She ultimately finished third in the SoCon with nine goals and fourth with 23 points.
Eatz, who received her first end-year award as a Buccaneer, was an influential figure in the ETSU attack all season from her spot in the midfield. She finished the season with three assists and final broke through with two goals in the regular season finale against VMI. She finished second on the team with 37 shots and 17 shots on goal.
Ella Parker had one assist played the second-most minutes for the Bucs in 2025, with 1492:22 split between outside back and center back, including 1070 of the final 1080 minutes as part of a back line that conceded nine goals in those 12 games.
Shields played the third-most minutes for the Bucs almost exclusively at left back and was an influential part of ETSU's transition game. She finished the regular season with two assists, including Fitzgerald's 61st minute game-winner against Longwood on August 31st.
Yelton was one of the top goalkeepers in the country in her first year with the program, ranking 20th in Division I in shutouts and 47th in goals against average. Her eight shutouts this season tied 
Ashton Blair's single-season record set in 2023. Her 0.772 GAA, if it holds, would be the third-lowest in a season in school history.
Ainsley Parker started all 15 of her appearances in her freshman campaign as a defensive midfielder, playing the fifth-most minutes on the team at 1142:54. She recorded nine shots with one on goal and just 16 fouls and two cautions as a major ball-winning presence in the ETSU midfield.
After beginning the season as a substitute outside back, Wawak took over for 
Ella Parker at right back mid-game on September 4 at West Georgia and became a fixture in the starting lineup the rest of the season. Her 88th minute thunderbolt goal against Mercer from outside the box on September 26 extended ETSU's unbeaten streak to a record eight games, with the streak ultimately stretching to 12.
ETSU begins its run in the 2025 SoCon Women's Soccer Championship in Cullowhee, North Carolina, on Friday with a neutral site matchup against Mercer in the quarterfinals at 4:00pm.
