THINGS TO KNOW – Please click HERE for all the "Things to Know" for Saturday's matchup with the Terriers, presented by Citizens Bank.

HUGE DAY FROM DEVONTAE HOUSTON - A definite highlight for the Bucs on Saturday was the play of running back Devontae Houston. Houston ran for a career-high 171 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries (7.4 avg.). Houston also caught two passes for 15 yards and returned one kickoff for 24 yards. Houston's 171 yards are the second-most by a running back this season in the SoCon (Mercer's CJ Miller – 172 yards vs. ETSU). It is the sixth time that Houston has surpassed 100 yards rushing in a game as a Buc. Furthermore, the 171-yard outburst puts Houston at the top of the SoCon rushing leaderboard entering this week's action with 594 yards on the season.

ODE TO THE OFFENSE - For the second game in a row and third time this season, the ETSU offense eclipsed 500 yards of total offense (517). Overall, the Bucs are averaging 417.3 yards per game. For historical perspective, only one ETSU team has averaged more yards per game (1997 - 432.3) than this season's squad.

ANOTHER BUCCANEER FIRST DOWN - Tying into the success offensively, the Bucs have 185 first downs this season. Those 185 first downs are fourth in the FCS trailing only Western Carolina (204 first downs), Monmouth (196 first downs), and Tarleton State (190 first downs).

FINDING FLOYD - Senior wide receiver Ephraim Floyd added to his season numbers with six receptions for 50 yards last Saturday against the Mocs. It is the fifth time in eight games this season that Floyd has caught five or more passes in a game this season. Overall, Floyd has totaled 43 receptions and 439 yards this season. His reception total ranks second among SoCon pass catchers, while his yardage total is fifth. Furthermore, with four more games to go in the regular season Floyd has an opportunity to enter the top 10 single-season reception list. Floyd needs just 12 catches to enter the top 10 and 16 more to eclipse the receptions by a Buc since football returned in 2025 (Will Huzzie - 58 receptions in 2021).

ABOUT WOFFORD - Wofford will make its way to Johnson City on Saturday fresh off a 31-13 victory over Furman on Saturday. The Terriers, who have now beaten the Paladins three straight times, is now 2-5 overall and 1-2 in SoCon play. Wofford could have a much better record than it does as all four of its losses to FCS foes this season have been by four points or fewer. Two of those setbacks have been against the SoCon's top two teams at the moment in Mercer (22-21) and Western Carolina (23-21). Wofford's defense enters Saturday's clash with the Bucs ranked 19th in the FCS in terms of scoring defense allowing 20.0 points per contest. A major part in that defensive success is causing negative plays for the opposing offenses. Wofford is sixth among FCS programs averaging 7.6 tackles for loss per game. The Terriers also have two defensive touchdowns in 2025. The Terriers have been the SoCon's best in terms of turnover margin (+4). Wofford has caused 10 turnovers and has committed six.

SERIES REWIND AGAINST THE TERRIERS - The all-time series between ETSU and Wofford is deadlocked at 16-16. The Bucs have won three of the last four meetings, including a 24-7 victory in Spartanburg last October. Over the last two seasons, the Bucs have outscored the Terriers 65-17. The two teams have split the four matchups at Greene Stadium with Wofford winning the first two and the Bucs winning the last two.
