Bucs drop season opener at Clemson

Lamas picks up the lone point for ETSU on Saturday

CLEMSON, S.C. (Jan. 11, 2025) – The ETSU men's tennis team opened its spring schedule on Saturday at Clemson. The Tigers secured the doubles point and then won five of the six singles tilts to knock off the Bucs, 6-1.
 
ETSU's point came in the No. 4 singles position as Francisco Lamas knocked off Edoardo Ligniere, 6-4, 6-4. Counting the results from the fall, Lamas is now 7-7 in singles play this year.
