JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 23, 2024) – With today marking 100 days until the football season opener, the ETSU Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced kickoff times for its 2024 home games.
The Bucs, under first-year head coach
Tre Lamb, play six games at Bank of Tennessee Field at William B. Greene, Jr. Stadium this season. ETSU's home opener is set for Saturday, Sept. 7 against UVA Wise, while one week later, the Bucs host nine-time FCS national champion North Dakota State. The kickoff time for the two September home games will be at 5:30 p.m.
In October, ETSU brings in-state rival Chattanooga to town for Homecoming on October 5, while 2022 Southern Conference Champion Samford visits Greene Stadium one week later on October 12 for Family Weekend. Both kickoff times will be at 3:30 p.m.
ETSU's final two regular season home games will be played in November against Western Carolina (11/9) and reigning conference champion Furman (11/16) with those start times being 12 p.m. kickoffs.
ETSU opens the season on Saturday, Aug. 31 at Appalachian State.
