JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 7, 2024) – The No. 60 ETSU women's tennis team bounced back with a 6-1 victory over Samford on Sunday afternoon. Sunday's win boosts ETSU's overall record to 13-7 on the season and the Bucs remain undefeated in SoCon play improving to 6-0.
ETSU played well from the first serve on Sunday. The Bucs won all three doubles matches by scores of 6-2, 6-1 and 7-5 before moving on to win five of the six singles tilts. The victory by
Fernanda Carvajal in the No. 2 singles slot clinched the match for the Bucs as she notched her sixth consecutive singles win.
Daniela Rivera also won her singles contest, and she has now won five in a row.
