ETSU shuts out 4-0 Chattanooga to advance to the SoCon Tournament Championship Game

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn.  (April 19, 2024) – The top-seeded ETSU men's tennis team continued its run in the 2024 Southern Conference Tournament with a victory over No. 5 seed Chattanooga, 4-0, to advance to Saturday's Championship Match. Friday's win improves ETSU's record to 12-9 and the Bucs have won their last eight straight matches.

ETSU and Chattanooga split the first two doubles matches on Friday with the Bucs' win coming from Pedro Cressoni and Alberto Garcia in the No. 3 slot. After that win, Dimitri Badra and Adam Nagoudi clinched the point for the Bucs with a 6-4 victory.

As the match progressed to singles, Badra pushed the Buccaneer lead to 2-0 with a 6-1, 6-3 victory.
