JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (March 27, 2024) – The ETSU men's tennis team tallied its second conference win in three days as it downed Mercer by a score of 6-1 on Wednesday. With Wednesday's victory, the Buccaneers improve to 6-9 overall and 3-0 in SoCon play.
ETSU began Wednesday's match by winning two of the three doubles matches. The duo of
Milledge Cossu and
Francisco Lamas got the first win before
Dimitri Badra and
Adam Nagoudi clinched the doubles point for the Bucs with a 7-5 win.
In singles, the Bucs won five of the six tilts. Four of ETSU's five wins came in two sets and Lamas clinched the match for the Bucs with his 6-1, 6-4 win out of the No. 6 singles position.
