ETSU enters the weekend at 7-5 after starting its road trip with a win at UNC Asheville in assistant coach Honey Brown's return after spending four years as the head coach of the Bulldogs, and in head coach Brenda Mock Brown's second trip back to her old stomping grounds. Mock Brown is now 3-0 against her former school.

Freshman guard Carmen Richardson set a career high with 16 points and six rebounds in the win. 5th year guard Courtney Moore added 16, and junior forward Meghan Downing scored seven with ten rebounds.

Friday's tilt will mark the first ever game between ETSU and IU Indy, formerly IUPUI. The Jaguars enter the contest at 1-9 on the season after getting a season-opening win in a rout of Evansville. IU Indy hasn't won since, dropping games to Purdue, Marquette and Ball State, among others.

The Jaguars are led by Shania Nichols-Vannett, who averages 12.8 points per game on 50% shooting from 3-point range. Faith Stinson also averages 9.9 points and 4.1 rebounds per game for IU Indy.

Florida Gulf Coast enters their tournament at 7-3 and ranked 14th in the CollegeInsider Women's Mid Major Top 25. The Eagles dropped a pair of early contests to Davidson and Columbia, and their last game before the tournament to Montana State. FGCU boasts wins over Cincinnati and Georgetown, among others.

Emani Jefferson leads the Eagles with 13 points per game on 62.7% shooting from the field. Maddie Antenucci averages 10.8 per game, but hasn't played in the month of December. Lauryn Taylor and Cerina Rolle post 8.0 and 7.5 points to combine with 6.7 and 6.3 rebounds per contest, respectively.

The Bucs are 2-14 all-time against their former ASUN foe. Saturday's game will mark the first time ETSU and FGCU have met since the Blue & Gold returned to the SoCon.
