The Bucs enter the game after their first back-to-back wins of 2024-25. ETSU leaned on its depth to race past Presbyterian, with 11 players tallying double-digit minutes and ten players scoring. Senior guard
Braylyn Milton and freshman guard
Carmen Richardson each scored 11.
Additionally, the Blue & Gold notched a season-high 13 steals and shot 46.7% from behind the arc against the Blue Hose.
The Tigers are led by Tilly Boler, who averages 16.5 points per game. Elauna Eaton and Alasia Smith join her in double-digits, averaging 11.5 and 10.7, respectively.
One of Memphis' strengths is its offensive rebounding, as they collect their own rebounds 36% of the time. ETSU allowed Presbyterian to total 15 offensive rebounds, and will have to box out well in the battle with the Tigers.
The Tigers also play with tempo, averaging 75.9 possessions and 73.2 points per game. The Bucs employ a slower offense and strong defense, both scoring and allowing 53.7 points per contest. Only then-No. 9 NC State has scored more than 63 points against ETSU, as the Wolfpack posted 80 in Raleigh.
The Blue & Gold have held three opponents under 50 points, and Presbyterian managed only 31. ETSU trails in the all-time series against Memphis 3-8, with all three wins coming in Johnson City.
